An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Manager to join a reputable dealership in the Redhill area. This role offers the chance to lead and develop a busy parts department within a well-established and forward-thinking business. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maximising profitability, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties of the Parts Manager:
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
  • Control stock levels, optimise stock utilisation, and oversee stock planning and administration
  • Drive sales of parts, accessories, and value-added products to maximise departmental profitability
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, control costs, and improve financial performance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade account customers and explore new business opportunities
  • Ensure accurate administration including warranty processing, stock checks, and supplier relationships
Requirements of the Parts Manager:
  • Proven experience within a Parts or Aftersales role in the motor trade
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee a busy department
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Good commercial awareness and numerical literacy
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required
  • Knowledge of relevant vehicle and trade legislation is desirable
