Our client, a fast-growing and customer-focused Used Car Supermarket in Derbyshire, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their expanding workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, well-equipped environment where you'll prepare a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards while benefiting from excellent training, career progression, and a genuine work-life balance.
  • Location: Derbyshire
  • Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 Basic (Depending on Qualifications & Experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • No Weekends | Overtime Paid at Time and a Half | EV & Hybrid Training.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and vehicle health checks
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Complete mechanical repairs on a wide range of makes and models
  • Prepare used vehicles to a high retail standard
  • Carry out MOT testing where qualified 
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
  • Work closely with the workshop team to maintain productivity and quality
What Our Client Expects: 
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong servicing and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
