We are currently seeking a skilled vehicle technician to join our client’s reputable dealership in York.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional eager to develop their career within a forward-thinking team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service standards and maintaining our high-quality aftersales operations.

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Service and maintain a wide range of vehicles, including performing diagnostic, warranty, and repair work
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and cambelt replacements
  • Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in accordance with dealer standards
  • Accurately update digital job cards and write-ups
  • Follow safety procedures and work efficiently within team guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of quality
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with exposure to both warranty and servicing work preferable
  • Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards
  • MOT Licence is advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a supportive environment
