We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in Chingford, London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to develop their career within a reputable automotive business. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for carrying out a range of repairs and services, including diagnostics and maintenance on all types of vehicles, with a focus on hybrid and electric systems.

Duties:
  • Conducting vehicle diagnostics and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Servicing and maintaining vehicles, including timing chains, cambelts, and engine rebuilds
  • Performing MOT tests (preferred but not essential)
  • Diagnosing and repairing hybrid and electric vehicle systems
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high-quality standards and health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
  • At least 5-10 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Level 4 hybrid/EV qualification
  • Experience working with timing chains, cambelts, and engine rebuilds
  • MOT experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
