We are seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our Client’s independent garage in the Portsmouth area.

Our Client is a well-established independent car sales centre with over 35 years trading experience are seeking an experience vehicle technician to undertake their sales & warranty work.

You will be the Sole/Lead Technician on site and will be responsible for all aspects of the workshop.

Benefits:

  • Mon - Fri 08:30 - 18:00 work schedule with no weekends required

Duties:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing and repair work efficiently and to high standards
  • Diagnose faults accurately using modern scanning tools
  • Complete warranty and sales-related repairs as required
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold the company's reputation for quality
  • Assist with the development of apprentices and support team operations
  • Ensure all work is completed within designated timeframes
Requirements:
  • Time-served or fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in an independent garage setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Competence in using diagnostic equipment such as FordScan, Autel, Snap-On, and smoke testers
