We are seeking a highly skilled MOT Tester to join our client’s busy aftersales team in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician looking to work in a modern, forward-thinking dealership with a strong focus on vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and customer service.

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards, ensuring thorough and precise inspections
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and attention to detail during vehicle assessments
  • Work closely with the service team to identify any additional repairs or servicing requirements
  • Keep up to date with manufacturer and industry training, particularly in electric and hybrid vehicle technology
  • Ensure all workshop procedures and safety protocols are followed consistently
Requirements:
  • Valid MOT licence
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, especially in electric and hybrid systems
  • Previous experience in a main dealer or high-quality workshop environment is desirable
