Our client, a rapidly expanding used van dealer in the Chipping Sodbury region, is currently looking to recruit a Used Van Business Manager to join their busy dealership.
  • Salary: £30-50,000 basic salary with uncapped on-target-earnings averaging  £2-5,000 per month.
  • Hours: Guaranteed 5-day week with weekend coverage required.

Reporting to our client's senior management team, you will work with our client's sales team and support them in facilitating the sale of finance, insurance, warranties and additional products to our client's customers when purchasing a vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Qualifying customers and obtaining the required information/documentation
  • Submitting and progressing finance applications 
  • Managing lender requirements and relationships
  • Maximising approvals, finance penetration and conversion
  • Following applications through to payout
  • Monitoring finance performance and commission generated
  • Ensuring FCA compliance, Consumer Duty and good customer outcomes
To be eligible, you will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Chipping Sodbury and have strong recent experience as a Business Manager or at a similar or higher level within an automotive dealership (ideally light commercial but not crucial), with a strong knowledge of car sales industry standards, including FCA guidelines. Career stability is essential for our client at this stage, as well as a UK driving licence with minimal points. Overall, you will need to have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for our client's company.

  • Between £30-50,000 basic salary, pending experience.
