Vehicle Technician - Newcastle
  • A competitive basic salary of up to  £43,000 with an achievable OTE of up to £52,480, reflecting your skills and experience.
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays mornings

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks and diagnostics using the latest technology
  • Performing routine vehicle servicing and necessary repairs
  • Fitting additional accessories requested by customers
  • Conducting pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
  • Assisting in minor mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Conducting thorough road tests to ensure faults are fully rectified
  • Completing all relevant documentation accurately and professionally
  • Supporting the team with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, or diagnostics
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality standards
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with some experience in diagnosis (desirable)
  • Brand-specific accreditation or EV expertise is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
