We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional team in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking to advance their career in a reputable workshop environment. The successful individual will handle a wide range of mechanical repairs and diagnostics within a supportive team setting, contributing their expertise and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding service.

Benefits:
  • Competitive starting salary of between £40,000 and £43,000
  • No weekend work, with hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
  • 60-minute unpaid lunch break and two tea breaks
  • Opportunity to work with a friendly 3-person team at a well-equipped site in Maidstone
  • Work across a variety of tasks including engine repairs, wheel services, cambelts, clutches, gearboxes, and diagnostics
Duties:
  • Carry out mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Use Autel Diagnostics and other tools to identify faults and recommend repairs
  • Undertake engine replacements, cambelt changes, and clutch repairs
  • Assist with basic servicing such as oil and pollen filter changes
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Semi Skilled Technician
  • MOT licence is preferred but not essential
  • Good knowledge of diagnostic tools and techniques, with experience in fast fit services advantageous
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team
  • Relevant qualifications such as ATA or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Repair
