We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership in Askam-in-Furness, Cumbria, for a dedicated Senior Service Advisor to join their friendly and professional team.

- Coordinate the service department, supporting management, technicians, and administrative staff
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Manage workflow, productivity, and job allocation within the service team
- Develop and optimise operational processes for increased efficiency and profitability
- Supervise the small service administration team, ensuring smooth communication between workshop, management, and customers
- Liaise with workshop technicians and customers to ascertain work requirements and obtain authorisation
- Raise job cards and provide accurate customer estimates in line with company policies
- Calculate charges for parts, labour, and repairs, ensuring pricing accuracy
- Maintain thorough documentation and update customer and vehicle records
- Monitor jobs in progress and report any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and company policies
- Proven experience within the motor trade as a Service Advisor
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and IT systems
- Ability to analyse data for KPI reporting and process improvement
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work well within a team
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential; strong tenure as a Service Advisor will be considered
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Full UK driving licence and consent to police vetting
