Benefits
- Basic salary up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
- Permanent, full-time position with consistent working hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Opportunity to work with luxury and prestige vehicles in a specialised environment
- Install and configure a wide range of vehicle security systems, including trackers, alarms, immobilisers, and more
- Conduct electrical wiring, connections, and modifications required for security system installations
- Diagnose and resolve faults within vehicle security and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Safely remove and refit vehicle trim and interior components during installation and maintenance procedures
- Ensure all wiring and security components are installed in a neat, secure, and discreet manner
- Test security systems post-installation to verify full operational capability
- Use diagnostic tools and technical documentation to support fault diagnosis and system setup
- Maintain accurate records of work undertaken, parts used, and faults diagnosed
- Adhere to manufacturer instructions and company standards during installation processes
- Stay updated with evolving vehicle security technologies and installation techniques
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used to the highest standards
- Deliver high-quality work that minimises repairs and maintains excellent customer satisfaction
- Proven experience in vehicle security installation, auto electrics, or similar technical roles
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and circuitry
- Hands-on experience installing aftermarket security devices such as alarms, immobilisers, and trackers
- Ability to accurately diagnose electrical and security system faults
- Excellent practical skills with an eye for detail and neat installations
- Familiarity with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialised installation tools
- Ability to remove and refit vehicle interior trim without damage
- Knowledge of safe working practices around vehicle electrical systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a busy team
- Organised with good time management skills to prioritise workloads effectively
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Automotive electrical or vehicle security qualification is desirable
