We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established dealership in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within the motor trade sector. The successful Service Advisor will deliver excellent customer service, manage workshop bookings, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their service experience.

Benefits: 
  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 to £38,000 Depending on Experience
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Duties:
  • Greet customers and build strong relationships to fully understand their vehicle requirements
  • Handle workshop bookings efficiently, ensuring optimal workflow
  • Provide accurate and transparent advice regarding vehicle services and repairs
  • Liaise with technicians and parts departments to facilitate smooth job progress
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate to maximise workshop revenue
Requirements: 
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and time management
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude
