Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a fantastic opportunity with a successful and growing automotive group?

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership workshop in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career, benefit from manufacturer training and work within a professional and supportive team.

The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of servicing, maintenance, diagnostic and repair work to the highest possible standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Completing more complex repairs, including engine, transmission, braking and other major component work where required.
  • Carrying out thorough vehicle health checks and inspections, identifying any additional work required.
  • Completing job cards and repair documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest automotive technology and participating in ongoing manufacturer and brand training.
  • Providing a professional service and working closely with the wider aftersales team.
The successful individual will be an experienced Vehicle Technician with a strong mechanical background and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.

You will ideally have:
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a busy workshop team.
  • A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Main dealership experience would be advantageous, although strong independent garage experience will also be considered.
