Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Advisor to join their friendly team at the Exeter depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for parts sales and customer service within the commercial vehicle industry. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient supply of vehicle parts, supporting the workshop, retail customers, and parts operations.

Duties
  • Identifying and supplying commercial vehicle parts to workshop and retail customers
  • Providing professional advice to customers on parts and product requirements
  • Handling parts enquiries, quotations, orders, and invoicing efficiently
  • Sourcing parts from the manufacturer and approved suppliers to meet customer needs
  • Ordering parts and monitoring deliveries to ensure timely receipt
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting stock control processes
  • Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Supporting the workshop to reduce vehicle downtime
  • Identifying opportunities to increase parts sales and customer spend
  • Using dealership systems to identify parts, check availability, and vehicle details
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, preferably within commercial vehicles
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in parts sales
  • Organised with good problem-solving abilities
  • Confident IT skills, including dealership management software
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment
  • Positive, professional, and team-focused attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
