We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and successful Aftersales team in Melton Mowbray. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor looking for a flexible PM-based role, working alongside an established Aftersales team within a well-established, family-owned automotive business.
  • Salary: Up to £37,000 including bonus 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am or 12:00pm – 6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Key Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:
  • Meeting and greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing customer bookings and checking vehicles into the workshop
  • Advising customers on recommended work and the appropriate course of action
  • Preparing estimates for repair costs and timescales
  • Maximising opportunities to upsell additional work through the vehicle health check process
  • Preparing invoices and explaining completed work to customers
  • Taking customer payments
  • Quoting and selling service plans
  • Completing vehicle handovers and follow-up customer contact
  • Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels
  • Working towards agreed targets and deadlines
  • Supporting the wider Aftersales team where required
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role
  • Previous experience within the motor trade
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Confident using computer systems
  • A motivated and professional approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Full clean driving licence
