We are currently seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to join a reputable family-run business based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the vehicle service department to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Manage and lead a team of technicians and service advisors to deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
  • Drive profitability and ensure targets are met or exceeded
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance department productivity
  • Build strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and positive referrals
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Knowledge of motor trade processes, systems, and compliance standards
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve high performance
