- Salary: £36,182 Basic £45,950 uncapped OTE
- Hours: 45 hours per week, including Saturday mornings on a rota basis
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join a high-performing dealership with a loyal customer base, strong workshop demand and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be part of a supportive technical team carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, warranty and repair work across a range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on a range of vehicles.
- Complete diagnostic, warranty and repair work to a high standard.
- Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including oil changes, cambelt replacements and general mechanical repairs.
- Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with company standards.
- Accurately complete digital write-ups and job cards.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer and safety standards.
- Work closely with the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
- Experience carrying out servicing and maintenance, with exposure to warranty and repair work.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of workmanship.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
- A MOT Licence would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right individual.
- A full UK driving licence.
