Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester Needed in Sidcup, South East London 
  • Pay: £36,000 - £38,000 as a Vehicle Technician and £40,000 - £45,000 as a Technician & MOT Tester Depending on experience
  • Hours: Flexible working hours to suit your personal life! Either 8-4.30pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 8am - 12pm or Monday to Friday 8 - 5.30pm with no weekends.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician to join our well-established garage in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a friendly, family-run environment. The successful Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will have the necessary skills and experience to undertake servicing, repairs, and MOT testing efficiently, alongside providing excellent customer service.

Duties:
  • Performing MOT tests in accordance with VOSA regulations and standards (if qualified) 
  • Servicing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles
  • Conducting diagnostic work to identify faults and recommend repairs
  • Ensuring each vehicle is handled with the utmost care and attention to detail
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
  • Providing outstanding customer service, treating customer vehicles as if they were your own
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester (or equivalent relevant skills)
  • MOT qualification desirable or a strong Vehicle Technician willing to undertake MOT training
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Being a Team Player working closely with Reception staff and other vehicle technicians in the workshop 
  • Full driving licence preferred
