Panel Beater Required in Woolwich, South London Required for Accident Repair Centre
Hours: 45 Hours per week - Flexible working hours workshop is open: 5am - 6pm Monday - Friday
Pay: Depending on experience and qualifications £40,000 - £60,000 Basic
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join a reputable accident repair centre located in Woolwich. Duties
- Carry out structural and non-structural panel repairs, including panel replacement and welding
- Ensure accurate panel fit and alignment with manufacturer standards
- Use jig work and other specialist equipment to achieve high-quality repairs
- Maintain organised workflow and communicate effectively with colleagues to meet deadlines
- Protect vehicle parts and keep the workplace tidy and compliant with safety standards
- Complete accurate job cards and check the quality of work before vehicle handover
- Uphold the company’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
- Ability to carry out both structural and cosmetic metalwork repairs to a high standard
- Knowledge of welding, jig work, and panel alignment techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Hold relevant qualifications and manufacturer accreditations (preferred but not essential for all candidates)
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow repair procedures accurately
