The Bodyshop Workshop Controller will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring customer satisfaction through smooth and effective repair processes.

- Oversee and coordinate all repair processes from initial strip-down to final quality check, maintaining full visibility of each job
- Allocate work effectively based on technician skills, workloads, and job priorities to optimise productivity
- Conduct daily production meetings to review progress, resolve delays, and address issues promptly
- Ensure all repairs are performed in line with manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
- Monitor workflow and resolve technical or resource-related issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date repair documentation and job records
- Support and develop workshop staff and apprentices, fostering a team environment focused on continuous improvement
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental compliance in the workshop, ensuring safe working practices at all times
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and machinery in good working order, adhering to safety regulations
- Undertake any additional tasks as directed by senior management to support operational excellence
- Proven experience in workshop management within an accident repair centre or automotive environment
- Strong knowledge of repair processes and manufacturer repair methods
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow efficiently
- Experience in supervising and developing workshop staff, including apprentices
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively
- Desirable: experience with workshop management software
