Are you an experienced Vehicle Service Technician looking for a rewarding role in Loughton, Essex?

Our client, a well-regarded dealership, is currently seeking a dedicated Vehicle Service Technician to join their busy service department. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team, carry out a wide range of vehicle maintenance tasks, and develop your career within the automotive industry.

  • Full-time role of 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis
Duties:
  • Conduct routine servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty, and general maintenance work
  • Carry out tasks such as oil changes, cambelt replacements, and other vehicle maintenance activities
  • Complete digital write-ups and job cards efficiently, ensuring all work is accurately documented
  • Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to diagnose issues and maintain high standards of vehicle safety and performance
  • Follow manufacturer procedures and safety standards to uphold quality and consistency
Requirements:
  • Recognition of a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing operations
  • Strong team player with a focus on delivering high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Knowledge of electronic vehicle health checks is advantageous
  • MOT licence is a plus – full training will be provided for Technicians without this qualification
