Our client, a family-run franchise-approved car dealership based in Llandow, is currently looking to hire an experienced and professional Service Advisor for their Service Department.
  • Salary: Up to £26,500-28,500 per annum plus bonus worth up to £400 per month, and overtime at a 1.5x rate. Total OTE between £34-35,000 per annum inc bonus and overtime.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:00am-1:00pm paid additionally at time and a half.

In the role of a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will work alongside a workshop team and be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles in for service, maintenance or repair work and arranging, where necessary, a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers into the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, carry out up-selling of additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress on their vehicle.

The successful individual would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational and IT skills would be of high priority. Current or recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor would be highly advantageous; however is non-essential provided you come from a strong customer service-oriented background and are interested in undertaking a new challenge in the motor trade. A full clean UK driving licence with minimal points is essential, though.
