We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor on behalf of a reputable main dealership in Truro, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and take their career to the next level. As the Service Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring efficient workshop operations.

Benefits

Competitive salary of  up to £28,800 per annum, with additional commission opportunity bringing potential earnings to £32,800
Monday to Friday working week with one Saturday morning every four weeks, plus Friday afternoons off when doing the Saturday
40-hour workweek with flexible shift patterns available
Supportive environment with ongoing development opportunities

Duties

Providing expert advice to customers and guiding them through the service process
Managing customer appointments and ensuring smooth communication between the workshop and service department
Upselling additional services and parts to maximise workshop revenue
Maintaining accurate documentation and processing repair orders efficiently
Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

Requirements

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or within a similar motor trade role
Knowledge of automotive service procedures and customer service best practices
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Full UK driving licence
