We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bodyshop Prepper to join a busy automotive bodyshop in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to utilise their skills within a forward-thinking team. The successful individual will play a vital role in vehicle preparation and finishing processes, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

Duties:
  • Preparing vehicles prior to painting, including masking, sanding, and priming
  • Polishing and finishing vehicles after painting, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Assisting the bodyshop team in all aspects of vehicle preparation and finishing
  • Managing time effectively to meet production deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Bodyshop Prepper role or related position
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and colour matching skills
  • Reliable and punctual attitude
  • Good understanding of vehicle preparation and polishing techniques
