Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician with a passion for delivering high-quality service and repairs? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Independent Family Run Garage in St Albans, Hertfordshire, as a Vehicle Technician. This role offers the chance to work within a professional team, contribute to a growing business, and develop your career in the automotive industry.

  • MOT License Advantageous Although Not Essential
Duties:
  • Conducting vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics, clutch replacements, and electrical work
  • Performing MOT tests (once qualified) and undertaking repair work across a variety of vehicles
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and technical expertise
  • Working collaboratively with the team to meet business objectives
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years’ experience on the mechanical side of vehicles
  • Demonstrable technical skills and a strong work ethic
  • MOT qualification (minimum 3 years testing experience) or the ability to qualify
  • Full set of tools for automotive work
  • A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience working in a busy garage environment, ideally with main dealer standards
