Service Advisor / Assistant Garage Manager Required in Sutton for Family Run Garage 
Pay: Up to £35,000 Basic 
Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch break 

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor / Assistant Garage Manager to join a reputable, family-run garage in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional looking to develop their career within a friendly, customer-focused environment. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while supporting day-to-day workshop operations.

  • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 basic with potential end of year Christmas bonus of up to £36,000 depending on the business's performance
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 6pm with a one-hour lunch break
  • No weekends or late-night shifts

Duties

  • Booking customers in and managing workshop schedules
  • Updating customers on repair progress and visibility of work carried out
  • Ordering parts and liaising with the workshop team
  • Processing payments and ensuring accurate records
  • Providing outstanding customer service to encourage repeat business
  • Supporting the garage with administrative tasks and general management duties
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Senior Service Advisor
  • Experience with garage management or service administration
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Basic IT skills, with experience using garage management systems (system may need updating)
