HGV Trailer Mechanic vacancy in Nuneaton!
  • Location: Nuneaton
  • Salary: £44,000 per annum
  • OTE: Up to £55,000
  • Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7am–5pm; Friday, 7am–4:30pm

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, inspections and PMI checks on HGV trailers
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across braking, suspension and bodywork systems
  • Replacing and adjusting components as required
  • Ensuring all work meets DVSA compliance standards
  • Accurately recording maintenance and repair work
  • Working alongside the wider workshop team to keep the fleet moving
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, Fitter or in a similar heavy vehicle role
  • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification or equivalent time-served experience
  • IRTEC certification desirable, or a willingness to work towards it
  • A proactive, safety-first approach with pride in producing quality work
