We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Service Advisor to join a reputable family-run car garage in Horley, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to a friendly and supportive team while delivering outstanding customer service. The Service Advisor will play a key role in ensuring smooth front-of-house operation and exceptional customer experience

Duties

  • Answering incoming phone calls and handling customer inquiries professionally
  • Managing appointment bookings and scheduling service jobs effectively
  • Raising job cards and liaising with the Aftersales Manager
  • Providing excellent customer service at the front desk and administrative support
  • Assisting in upselling services where appropriate to maximise workshop efficiency
  • Covering the front desk during busy periods as part of a committed team
  • Managing a fast-paced environment with energy and multitasking skills, often handling multiple plates spinning simultaneously
Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Polite and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment with energy and enthusiasm
  • Good administrative skills and a proactive attitude
