Vehicle SMART/Alloy Wheel Repair Technician - Oxfordshire Region.
  • Salary: £28,890 basic salary plus monthly bonuses, providing uncapped on-target earnings of around £40-50,000+ per annum.
  • Hours: 40-hour week Monday to Friday with no weekends. Usually 8:00am-5:00pm but flexibility on start/finish times.

Our client, one of the largest specialist mobile SMART, dent removal and alloy wheel repairers in the UK, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle SMART/Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to operate out of several of their customers' dealerships in the Oxfordshire region.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be supplied with a fully equipped state-of-the-art company van with the highest quality products and shall visit our client's dealership customers throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding region to carry out minor cosmetic damage repair work on their vehicles, from bumper scuffs to chipped alloy wheels and everything in between. This is carried out with an ethos of a "first-time fix", ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

To be eligible, you ideally have previous experience as a Vehicle SMART Repair Technician (either mobile or workshop-based), an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, or alternatively have relevant transferable automotive accident repair experience with skills like vehicle re-spraying and prepping. Given the independent nature of this role, you will need to be a proactive self-starter with a methodical and organised approach to your work and be capable of working independently. The client will provide most tools, but it is preferred that the successful individual has a basic toolkit. Strong customer service skills are also key, as you shall be the face of our clients' and customers' business in the region. A UK driving licence is also essential.
