Perfect Placement are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join an established and growing dealership in Bolton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Technician at any level to join a supportive team, with manufacturer training, specialist EV development and clear opportunities for career progression.

Whether you're an experienced Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or someone looking to develop their skills further, our client is keen to hear from individuals with the right technical background and attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical and EV systems
  • Use technical resources including wiring diagrams and technical bulletins
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Carry out road tests before and after repair work
  • Work efficiently to achieve first-time fixes
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • The Ideal Vehicle Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a workshop environment
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on modern vehicles, with EV experience desirable
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Dealership or independent garage experience considered
  • Keen to develop their skills and progress their career
