We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our client’s busy accident repair centre in York. This exciting role offers the chance to work within a leading UK accident repair group dedicated to delivering top-quality vehicle repairs and exceptional customer service.

As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step.

What's On Offer:
  • Salary up to £59,800 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
  • Hours from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with one in two Saturday mornings
  • Ongoing training and development within a growing company

Duties as a MET Technician will include:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
  • Replace and refit mechanical components, including complex hybrid and electric vehicle parts
  • Use industry-approved repair methods, particularly for ADAS and EV systems
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and self-assessment to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safety policies are followed
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including PPE protocols
Requirements that the MET Technician will need:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician within an automotive repair environment
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with ADAS and hybrid/electric vehicle repairs
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes
  • Excellent teamwork and safety awareness
