A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a New/Used Car Sales Executive at our client's franchise-approved car dealership in Cheltenham.
  • Salary: £22,500 basic salary with £40,000+ annual earnings and company car.
  • Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am-6:00pm with a scheduled day off every week, Sat 9:00am-5:00pm and 1 in 2 Sun 10:00am-4:00pm.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and working with a friendly sales and administration support team, as a New/Used Car Sales Executive, you will be required to sell new and used vehicles. You will also sell various add-ons, accessories, and finance and insurance products to reach and exceed allocated sales targets and ensure a high level of customer service. You will be required to keep customers informed of the delivery progress of their vehicle and advise customers of any potential delays that may arise. You will be required to resolve any queries which may arise and collect payment from customers before releasing the vehicle. You must explain warranties and after-sales service arrangements, introduce the customer to the Service Department where possible, demonstrate the features of the vehicle and offer any other support that may be required.

To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Cheltenham region and have a UK driving licence with minimal points. Previous car sales experience, and any experience working with new cars or hybrid/electric cars, would be highly beneficial, but is non-essential provided you have strong transferable skills in a similar sales/customer service-oriented role. Overall, you will need to have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for our client and the brand they represent.
