Are you an experienced HGV Technician seeking an exciting role in Preston? We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a reputable National Dealership Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team, gain valuable experience, and enjoy an attractive salary package.

  • Sunday to Tuesday from 7am to 7pm 
  • Wednesday from 7am to 1pm

Duties:
  • Peform maintenance and repair activities on heavy commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Diagnose faults and conduct testing to ensure accurate and complete repairs
  • Complete warranty, contract, and retail paperwork within procedural guidelines
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise customer costs
  • Support the team with additional tasks as delegated by your supervisor
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
  • Organised with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
  • Manufacturer training and up-to-date knowledge of heavy vehicle systems
  • Full UK driving licence; HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner
  • Ability to work well under pressure, independently or within a team
