We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle  Service Technician to join our client's busy and reputable team at their dealership in Newbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to advance their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful Service Vehicle Technician will play a key role in delivering outstanding vehicle servicing and maintenance while working with a wide range of modern vehicles.

Duties:

  • Carrying out servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including diagnostics, repairs, and warranty work
  • Performing digital vehicle health checks and logging all work accurately on job cards
  • Conducting various repair tasks such as oil changes, cambelts, and other scheduled maintenance
  • Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards and health and safety regulations
  • Supporting team members with technical advice and sharing knowledge to uphold high standards
Requirements:

  • Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Service Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing exposure
  • Strong attention to detail, safety conscious, and committed to quality work
  • Full UK driving licence and possession of a valid MOT licence (training available if required)
  • Willingness to learn and develop through manufacturer training programmes
