MET Technician Vacancy (Twilight Shift) in Luton Accident Repair Centre!
  • £60,000 basic salary (£25.04 per hour)
  • Uncapped monthly bonus
  • Monday to Thursday: 11:00am - 11:00pm
  • 4-day working week
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
Our client, a well-established Accident Repair Centre in Luton, is currently looking for an experienced and qualified MET Technician to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading employers in the accident repair sector, offering an excellent basic salary, uncapped bonus potential, a 4-day working week and continued investment in training and career development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on damaged vehicles
  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components following accident damage
  • Strip and rebuild vehicles to facilitate efficient body repairs
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Remove and replace damaged suspension, steering and braking components
  • Carry out air conditioning, cooling system and other mechanical repairs where required
  • Remove and refit vehicle interiors, trims, lighting and electrical components
  • Carry out post-repair checks to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair or bodyshop environment
  • Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience with vehicle strip and rebuild procedures
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality repairs
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
  • Relevant qualifications or ATA accreditation are advantageous but not essential
