  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 4:45pm | Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a main dealer in Coventry.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and leading the accounts team.
  • Managing month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes.
  • Preparing and analysing management accounts, P&L, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
  • Ensuring accurate reconciliations, journals and accounting controls.
  • Managing intercompany reconciliations and statutory returns.
  • Supporting dealerships and Head Office with financial queries and reporting.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
What we’re looking for:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
  • Dealership or automotive retail accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of Autoline DMS would be beneficial.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
