Senior/Master Vehicle Technician - Leominster
  • Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus earned. 
  • Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch, and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm paid as overtime.

Our client, a long-established franchise-approved car dealership based in the Leominster region, is currently looking to recruit a Senior/Master Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working with a large yet friendly workshop team, as a Senior/Master Technician, your role will include accurately and skillfully undertaking the repairs and servicing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines & completed to the highest standards. You will coach, mentor and provide diagnostic and technical assistance to other Vehicle Technicians to speed fault diagnosis and accurately specify repair solutions. Where required, you will also discuss issues directly with customers concerning any long-term vehicle issues and ensure that all work is carried out in full and followed up until resolved. 

To be eligible, you will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and be trained to a high level as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise car dealership environment. At this stage, our client cannot consider applicants who are only trained to a Service Technician level and needs people with the relevant Senior/Master Technician experience.

You will need to hold a UK driving licence, be a committed individual and be a good team player. Overall, you must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.

For your hard work as a Senior/Master Vehicle Technician, our client is offering:
  • Starting salary up to £50,000 per annum, pending experience.
