We are currently recruiting for the role of Vehicle Technician on behalf of a well-established Independent Automotive Centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled technicians looking to join a respected garage that values quality service and professional growth. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through expert maintenance and repairs.

  • Working Hours - Monday to Friday only 8.30am to 5.30pm

Duties:
  • Carrying out vehicle diagnostics and repairs to a high standard
  • Servicing vehicles with precision and attention to detail
  • Conducting MOT tests and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Working on a variety of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models
  • Maintaining accurate service records and customer communication
  • Supporting team members with technical expertise and guidance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Qualification at Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Level 2 considered for suitable individuals)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with Bosch and AA diagnostic systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • MOT Tester Licence preferable but training offered if needed
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
