A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Service Advisor for our client's franchise-approved car dealership located in Tewkesbury.
  • Salary: Up to £27,000 basic salary plus bonuses providing an uncapped on-target-earnings around £32,000 per anum.
  • Hours: Mon to Fri 8:00am-5:30pm with 1 in 4 Sat 8:30am-12:30pm.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working with several other Service Advisors, you will need to be a confident relationship builder, be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a class service, and also achieve the company's objectives and targets. You will greet customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed. 

Do you need previous experience as a Service Advisor? In short, no.

The successful Service Advisor would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills along with IT literacy would be of high priority. Experience with the dealer management system Kerridge/Keyloop would be preferable but isn't essential. Experience working in a similar role as a Service Advisor would be highly beneficial; however, our client is willing to consider individuals with no direct experience in the role provided they come from a strong customer service-oriented role in the motor trade, and they have a full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points.
