We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our busy automotive retail operation in Plymouth, Devon. With large and varied amount of vehicles in stock and increasing customer demand, this is an excellent opportunity for an established motor trade professional to join a successful sales team. The role offers a basic salary of £25,000, with an achievable OTE of approximately £65,000.

Duties

As our Sales Executive, you will manage incoming leads and build strong relationships with customers
Guide customers through the vehicle selection and purchasing process
Present vehicles professionally and explain their key features and benefits
Discuss and arrange suitable finance solutions in line with customer requirements
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
Work towards individual and dealership sales targets
Liaise with the relevant internal teams to ensure a smooth handover once vehicles have been sold
Deliver a professional and customer-focused buying experience from initial enquiry through to completion

Requirements

Previous experience as a Sales Executive within the motor trade is essential
A well-established automotive sales background with substantial vehicle sales experience
Confident handling customer enquiries, leads and finance discussions
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
A motivated and target-focused approach
The ability to travel to Plymouth, Devon, with location considered on a flexible basis
Availability to work from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with alternate weekends
A full driving licence is desirable for this Sales Executive position
