Our client, a well-established, family-run automotive group with multiple sites across Northamptonshire, is continuing to grow following the recent acquisition of a new franchise. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their successful team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for its high standards, supportive team culture, and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Basic Salary: £36,000 (Negotiable Depending on Experience) + Bonus
  • OTE: £42,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, No Weekends
Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Repairing and replacing components, including brakes, suspension, and transmission systems.
  • Ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and workshop standards.
  • Completing job cards and maintaining accurate service and repair records.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • The ability to carry out a wide range of servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Experience using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • A professional, reliable, and team-focused approach.
  • An NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification, although this is preferred rather than essential.
