Duties as a MOT Tester will include:
  • Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and company procedures
  • Complete accurate inspection reports and maintain high levels of compliance
  • Identify and report vehicle faults clearly and professionally
  • Work closely with the workshop team to support an efficient service operation
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Use specialist equipment and the latest vehicle diagnostic technology
  • Uphold consistently high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service
Requirements that the MOT Tester will need:
  • Recognised Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Current MOT Tester qualification
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • A professional approach to vehicle safety and quality standards
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • The ability to follow established processes and work effectively within a busy workshop
  • A commitment to ongoing technical development
