We are looking for a skilled Paint Technician to join our busy bodyshop in Hayes, Greater London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied selection of substantial accident repair projects, including Metropolitan Police vehicles and insurance repairs, with strong earning potential and a guaranteed income package.

Benefits:

  • Basic salary of £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience
  • OTE of up to £70,000
  • Bonus scheme with achievable additional earnings
  • 45-hour working week, generally Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.30pm
  • Flexibility around start and finish times
  • Overtime and Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
  • Support towards achieving IMI qualifications
Duties:

  • Carry out high-quality paintwork repairs to a professional standard
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, priming and refinishing
  • Complete repairs on both insurance work and larger, heavier accident damage projects
  • Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards
  • Work efficiently to maintain the bodyshop’s repair schedules
  • Liaise with colleagues across the repair process to ensure vehicles are completed correctly
  • As our Paint Technician, contribute to a busy and varied repair operation
Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience working as a Paint Technician within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • Strong preparation and refinishing skills
  • Experience working on a range of vehicle damage and repair requirements
  • A conscientious approach with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • ATA or IMI qualifications would be beneficial, although they are not essential
  • A willingness to undertake supported IMI qualifications where required
  • Previous experience as a Paint Technician is essential for this opportunity
