We are recruiting a Service Advisor to join our established automotive dealership group in Croydon, Surrey. Operating across London, Kent and Surrey for more than 70 years, we represent eight vehicle manufacturers and have received numerous industry awards for employee excellence.

This Service Advisor role offers working hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £32,000 basic and £40,000 OTE.

Duties:
  • As a Service Advisor, greet customers and provide a professional first point of contact
  • Interpret customer concerns and liaise with Vehicle Technicians
  • Schedule servicing and repairs
  • Discuss additional work with customers and obtain authorisation
  • Provide accurate repair time and cost estimates
  • Track vehicles through the workshop and provide regular progress updates
  • Handle customer complaints and respond promptly to enquiries
  • Complete warranty administration and reporting
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the repair process
Requirements:
  • The successful Service Advisor will have at least two years’ customer-facing experience, ideally within an automotive or dealership environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with workshop and dealership teams
  • Confident handling customer queries, complaints and sales opportunities
  • Well organised, commercially aware and committed to achieving high standards
  • The ideal Service Advisor will be motivated, ambitious and eager to develop a long-term career within the motor trade
