We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Reading and the surrounding Berkshire area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing mobile vehicle servicing business, delivering convenient servicing and maintenance directly to customers at their homes or workplaces.

Duties

  • As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will attend pre-booked appointments at customer homes and workplaces across Reading and the surrounding Berkshire area.
  • Carry out routine servicing, brake repairs and diagnostic work on a range of vehicles for both business and private customers.
  • Complete all work efficiently and professionally using the fully equipped company vehicle and supplied tools.
  • Provide a friendly, customer-focused service while representing our client at every appointment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and identify any additional maintenance requirements.
Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or similar role within the motor trade.
  • Practical experience carrying out servicing, brake repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
  • A relevant IMI or NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable, although candidates with several years of hands-on experience will also be considered.
  • A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
  • A reliable, professional and customer-focused approach.
  • The flexibility to work either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, depending on the agreed rota.
