Our client is seeking a highly skilled MET Technician to join its established automotive repair operation in Paignton. This MET Technician position offers a salary of up to around £45,000, with an OTE of £50,000.

Benefits:
  • Salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience
  • OTE of £50,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • 40-hour working week Monday - Friday
  • Opportunity to join an established automotive repair operation
Duties:
  • The successful MET Technician will carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to a high standard
  • Remove and refit vehicle components safely and efficiently
  • Complete strip and fit work in line with manufacturer and repair centre standards
  • Carry out electrical diagnosis and repairs where required
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve high-quality vehicle repair results
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and technical repair standards
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an MET Technician or in a similar automotive repair role
  • Strong skills in stripping and fitting vehicle components
  • Experience of mechanical, electrical and trim repair work
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently to high standards
  • Professional approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and repair quality
