- Basic Salary: £32,500 - £45,000 + Bonus
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am - 1:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a successful Main Dealer in Luton. The role offers a competitive salary, manufacturer-led training, and the chance to work within a modern, fully equipped workshop.
The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and maintained in line with manufacturer guidelines. Experience with vans and electric vehicles is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and undertake electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
- Road test vehicles and carry out final checks prior to handover.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
- Participate in ongoing training, including EV, Hybrid, Diagnostic, and MOT courses.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a franchise dealership or independent workshop.
- EV and/or van experience preferred, though training will be provided.
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
