You will use your technical expertise to diagnose faults and get customers moving safely and efficiently.

- A varied position for a Mobile Vehicle Technician (Car, LCV and Commercial).
- Attend commercial vehicle breakdowns and complete roadside repairs wherever possible.
- Diagnose and repair faults on HGVs, trucks, trailers, vans and other commercial vehicles.
- Carry out servicing, inspections and routine maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Work across a varied range of vehicle manufacturers, with occasional work on buses, coaches and cars.
- Replace or repair defective components and parts.
- Provide clear updates regarding the work required, estimated repair times and any further action needed.
- Complete accurate repair and service records.
- Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with customers, colleagues and service reception teams.
- As a Mobile Vehicle Technician (Car, LCV and Commercial), use your initiative to provide effective breakdown support and get vehicles safely back on the road.
- Recognised HGV Technician qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, or extensive time-served experience in HGV and or Vehicle mechanics.
- Previous experience working on HGVs, trucks, trailers, vans or passenger cars.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, servicing and roadside repairs.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a mobile environment.
- Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills.
- A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Full UK driving licence. An HGV licence would be advantageous.
- Experience suited to a Mobile Vehicle Technician (Car, LCV and Commercial) who is comfortable working across different vehicle types and manufacturers.
- The flexibility to participate in an on-call rota, including weekday evenings and occasional weekends.
