Our Client, a Motor Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team in a fast paced working environment in the Chorley area.

The Accounts Assistant vacancy is challenging yet rewarding and therefore the applicant needs to be highly organised and efficient and must portray when working with flexibility to the needs of their team.

We are looking for Assistant Accountants who have experience working in the Accounts Department of a big business.

You must have experience in payroll, bank recs, book keeping, purchase ledger sales and overall be an all-rounder in the Accounts department.

Ideally you will be Kerridge trained and have knowledge of manufacturer bonuses and vehicle admin processes, however this isn't essential.

The job role as a Assistant Accountant:
  • Main contact for day-to-day accounts queries for sales administrators.
  • Responsible for checking accuracy of postings to ledgers and all vehicle related balance sheet accounts.
  • To reconcile all VSB balance sheet nominal accounts on a monthly basis and ensure that any discrepancies are resolved accordingly
