Vehicle Paint Technician required in Gorseinon.
  • Expected annual earnings around £28,500+ per annum.
  • 40 hour week Monday to Friday with optional Saturdays subject to business demand.

Our client, Wales' largest automotive car dealer group with sites across the region, are currently looking to recruit an Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join their busy accident repair centre based in Gorseinon. 

Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager and working as part of a team, as a Vehicle Paint Technician your key objectives will include:
  • Fulfil all tasks to customer’s complete satisfaction.
  • Complete the assigned jobs within the estimated paint times.
  • Safeguard the customer’s vehicle and its contents while in the bodyshop.
  • Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to the customer.
  • Carry out repairs according to best practice and procedures.
  • Meet acceptable safety and quality standards.
  • Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
  • Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas and equipment accurately for all paint repairs. 
  • Seek clarification from the Bodyshop Manager if a work order is not clear or seems to be incorrect.
In order to be eligible you will ideally be fully qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Vehicle Accident Repair Paint Principles or alternatively have several years "time-served" experienced working as a Vehicle Paint Technician. You will need hold a driving licence, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of workmanship in a busy working environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you team.

For your hard work as a Vehicle Paint Technician, our client is offering:
  • Starting rate of up to £12.50 per hour (negotiable pending experience).
  • Access to performance related bonus scheme providing an uncapped annual earning potential of £28,500+. 
  • Overtime subject to availability paid at time and a half. 
  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) with your holiday allowance increasing over length of service.
  • Access to industry leading technical training.
